Department of Medicine

The Cardiovascular Research Center would like to congratulate its member,
Dr. Timothy Kamp, who recently was appointed to the newly created Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research Professorship. Dr. Kamp, Professor of Medicine, co-founded the UW Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center (SCRMC) in 2007 and continues as its director. He previously held the Herman and Ailene Tuchman Chair in Clinical Cardiology in recognition of his excellence in research. The SCRMC is the intellectual and collaborative hub for stem cell research activities on the UW-Madison campus. The Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research Professorship was established by a group of donors from Milwaukee to help recruit, retain and recognize the Director of the University of Wisconsin Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center.

Congratulations Tim!
